Message App not staying in conversation in iOS 16.1

Numerous users have voiced their concern regarding a bug wherein the Message app doesn’t stay in the conversation but rather goes back to the list of messages after it is left untouched for a few minutes on iOS 16.1. There were high expectations that the bug would be rectified with the latest iOS 16.1.1 update, however that didn’t happen as Apple hasn’t addressed it in this latest OS release. While this issue isn’t going to make a difference of day and night, but still it definitely doesn’t spell out the best of usage experience. So we hope that the Cupertino giant addresses this concner sooner than later. When that happens, we will update this post accordingly.
